1975, Ledec nad Sazavou (boren), Svetla nad Sazavou (grew up), Czech Republic.

I graduated from a prestigious fashion design school in Brno, Czech Republic, majoring in Textile and Knitwear; this is where I developed my skill of drawing and painting.
After graduating, I spent several months in England and the USA.

My first oil painting was in 1999 as a Christmas gift for my lifelong partner. In 2003 I organized the first solo exhibition. All pictures are characterized by strong colour and bold strokes on a black background playing with light and shadow. A palette knife is used in the creation of these paintings. Since that first painting in 1999, I believe I’ve developed my own style. The light is the most important part of the painting. It can give the right sparkle or completely destroy it. I try to capture the right balance of light and shadow to add depth. I love classic paintings, especially from the Impressionist period and like many artists. My pictures draw on personal experiences that are a reflection of the visible – landscapes, cityscapes and transport.

I've held several successful exhibitions in the Czech Republic. My paintings are held in private collections in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, UK, USA, Canada, Belgium, Germany, France and Sweden.

Awards: February 2019 - Tram No 2 won 5th place in the Painting category and 9th place in the Overall Category of 499 entries from 22 countries.The topic was "CityScapes". The pictures are show on www.lightspacetime.art.

Landscape Artist of the Year 2018 - I was lucky to have been selected among the top 48 artists of Britain for this competition and 20th November I appeared in the 6th heat on the TV Sky Art.

Tram No 24 sold in the auction by European Arts - 17.3.2018.

Since 2017 I've been cooperate with auction houses in Prague. People has started to buying my pictures as an investment not only for home-decor.
