About

I try to capture in my paintings the
beauty and tranquility we so often find
in quiet country spaces. Very often only
minutes from our busy urban centres.
Though many of us take comfort in the
invigorating effect a quiet encounter with nature can bring, we do always have to return to the realities of life in a fast changing world. Some changes for
the better, others for the worse.

If a picture is worth a thousand words,
then these paintings attempt to speak
not only about some of what I cherish
but also about some of what I fear.
