I'm a professor of American Studies in the English program at Roskilde University. For survival purposes. If I had a choice, I'd create some art which I'd share around for free. But, as Gertrude Stein said: "I want to be rich, but I don't want to do what there is to do to get rich." In the art world, as in any other world for that matter, 'making it' requires too much hassle. Especially if you're a woman. So, yeah, I dream of the only realistic position available to our lot: a mountain top where I can do whatever the heck crosses my mind; smell the air and think of nothing.
