Warm tones and perspective invite the viewer to stroll through 1593 founded Botanical Gardens in Montpellier.
Deep, passionate lines and colors fill this painting with energy that can't be denied. It's rough, it's crude, it's in your face emotion. Not for the faint of heart. It's also full of life.
A free flowing watercolor with the fresh feel of a spring run on the river.
The title of this painting is "Landscape #161. It is one of a series of small format landscape paintings I'm presently making. Most of my paintings are done with a palette knife. All of my small paintings in this series are oils on hardboard. Most of my large paintings are on canvas. The surface used for my paintings will be specified in the description for each one.
The size of this painting is 5 in. x 7 in. x 1/4 in. It is painted dark on the sides and can easily fit into a 6" x 6" frame. Also it has a picture hanger mounted to the back. This piece has a gloss varnish for U.V. protection and to deepen the luster of the colors.
Another oil painting ( 100,0 x 80,0 cm) from my Canadian journey through the provinces Saskatchewan and Alberta. Storms threaten the harvest. Farmers might feel anxious about these clouds; an artist only marvels at their splendor. Please, do not hesitate to contact me, if you have any questions concerning my art.
