This is interesting, very modern and global like the earth is the center or if it is turned looks like saturn.
I love abstract art and this one is fabulous the colors and composition are exceptional.
I love doing watercolors and this beautiful one you did makes me want to do one. This is very inspirational and just lovely to look at.
I like the sharp edges, contrasting colors and the big wide eyes.
Fun happy colors that make me smile, I like the simplicity.
This is so fresh and full of life with simple strokes that are clean and fun.
Your photos are very crisp with bright blue colors that make me feel like I would like to go there. Have been wanting to make a web site and this is a first step, Thank You for making it possible to show my work.
Hi Debra,
Thanks for your lovely comments. Assisi is 3 hours away from our location. If you should return to Italy please visit you would be most welcome. As you realise I run courses but as you can already paint you could just use the studio and get on with it.
It would be nice to have someone with your experience nearby!
Kind regards,
John
The soft sunlight reflecting on these buildings is captivating - even giving them a painterly quality. The setting is so peaceful. How wonderful you were there at just the right time. Beautiful photo Cristian!
What's the address to you art blog Lynett?
Hello John,
I wish this was my view too! Sounds like a you're living my dream life with your redo villa and art school in the beautiful hill country of Italy. I visited Italy for way to short a time July 2001. I have said for years that this was to be the summer I went back. I haven't made plans yet but I was really taken with Assisi and the area.

Hi Nancy, Thank you for taking time to comment on my work. Even though we have very different expressions it's obvious from reading your statement and seeing your work we are drawn to paint for the same reason. Light, it's effects and the beauty in the ordinary. Happy painting. I enjoyed seeing your work. Deb
This reminds me of the old Dutch masters, beautiful is the only word to describe it 'Just Beautiful'.
